3) Q. What is Choose It Right?
A. Founded in 2014, Choose It Right is a web-based college search and selection system whose mission is to help students, student-athletes, and their families make educated and “future focused” choices when choosing the right college, academic major, and career.
4) Q. What is the Smart College Report?
A. Created specifically for students, student-athletes, and their families, the Smart College Report is an all-inclusive report that through following a few easy steps, instantaneously provides you with a whole host of critical information, including the top colleges that match your preferences, detailed facts about student loan borrowing and how much you should spend for college, the earning potential for the major of your choice, what college athletic programs best match your individualized preferences, and whole lot more.
5) Q. How can the Smart College Report help me?
A. By purchasing the report, Choose It Right’s “done-for-you services” will help you to gain valuable insight on how much you should actually pay for college and determine how much college is really worth to you, better understand student loan borrowing and the future financial implications of taking out financial aid, save time by doing the time consuming research for you, help you determine the right college in light of your intended major, choose a college with an athletic program that best matches your preferences, and much more.
6) Q. Should I only rely upon the results of the Smart College Report?
A. While the Smart College Report provides you with a significant amount of information that is helpful during your college search and application process, it is recommended that you also conduct your own research on the schools, majors and sports programs of your choice. At Choose It Right, we feel that the more you know, the better off you will be, and conducting your own research is just one more way to be fully informed and educated about your academic and future career choices.
7) Q. Since the Smart College Report provides me with the top colleges that match my preferences, does this mean I will be guaranteed acceptance to these colleges?
A. No. Although the Smart College Report generates results based upon your choice of major, current GPA, and a number of additional criteria, it does not mean that you will be guaranteed acceptance to any college, sports or academic program. Be sure to research each college carefully to determine exactly what you will need to maximize your chances of being accepted at the ones you choose.

  Questionnaire

12) Q. What if I do not have my ACT or SAT scores available yet?
A. That isn’t a problem, as these are optional. Notwithstanding, once you receive a list of schools that match your preferences, your Smart College Report will then inform you as to each college’s average ACT/SAT scores. If you initially did not purchase a package that includes reVisions (report updates) you can always go back, upgrade, and access another report once you receive your specific scores.
13) Q. I am not sure what I plan on majoring in. Can I just skip that question?
A. No, even if you are unsure as to your major, you have the option of selecting "Undecided". If you initially did not purchase a package that includes reVisions (report updates) you’re free to go back, upgrade, and purchase additional reports once you know what your specific major will be or if you have a number of them that interest you and you want to see all of your options.
14) Q. I am unsure as to whether I want to attend a public or private school. How do I answer this question?
A. Choose It Right allows you to select either one or both options so that your report reflects schools in these two categories.
15) Q. How do I enter in multiple majors for one report?
A. Your Smart College Report examines one major at a time. If you want to view your options with different majors, and the package you initially purchased includes reVisions, simply update the questionnaire to access one or more revised Smart College Reports. If your initial package does not include reVisions, then you will want to upgrade and purchase additional reports.
16) Q. I am not sure what size college I am looking to attend. Can I skip this question?
A. No, however, you can choose all three to see the full scope of your options in your report.
17) Q. I see dashes on certain parts of the Smart College Report, which indicate a lack of available data. Is there the ability to obtain this data directly from the college?
A. Possibly. We encourage you to contact the specific college to obtain this information; however, if we were unable to obtain it, it is likely because it does not exist or is not made publicly available.
18) Q. I received a report that provided me with less than 50 colleges. Why is that?
A. The results of your Smart College Report depend specifically on the information you provide and the preferences you choose. We have no way of guaranteeing that every report will render exactly 50 colleges.
